Horse riding with the therapeutic benefit in mind allows us to help with cognitive, physical, social and emotional development while teaching horse riding as a skill. The sessions are designed to be therapeutic without the children experiencing it as another therapy.

Hippotherapy is the use of horses as a possible treatment option by therapists to achieve their treatment goals for their clients. These include Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists.
We have large paddocks, a lovely covered arena to work in as well as an outdoor arena and access to walks on the road and in an indigenous forest on a neighbors property.
Training is provided in all aspects of this field to anyone interested in or involved in working with people with special needs and horses. We have over 20 years of experience in this field in the private and NPO sectors.
